This is a typical corner at the wonderful Country Club Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri. It is in oil with a pastel pallet.

Photographic print on canvas. The Liberty Memorial is an iconic Kansas City landmark, and we are fortunate to be home to the National World War I Museum. The annual Independence Day fireworks display is always fabulous. We enjoy picnicking on the lawn and watching the fireworks while listening to patriotic music. The celebrations at the memorial always evoke patriotism and jubilation! The size is 12x12x0.75 inches.

Ceramic shuttlecocks with doily imprint, set of three. Each piece in this set was created using an imprint of a doily made by my great-grandmother. My shuttlecock series was created using white clay with lace doily imprints to evoke the image of the Kansas City shuttlecocks on the lawn at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Each piece was glazed with a white glaze and reddish-copper glaze to accentuate the texture and details of the doily. The bottom/inside of each shuttlecock was glazed with a white glaze to allow for display when laid on its side. I enjoy creating pottery using crocheted doilies, especially those made by my great-grandmother. I press a doily into a slab of clay and carefully cut around each shape before forming it. The doily is removed and can be washed or reused without harm. Each crocheted doily is unique and each piece of pottery I create is one-of-a-kind as well. Size of each shuttlecock is 6x5 inches. 10x8 inch photo, matted and framed in 16x13 inch frame. The Hereford Bull may be his official name, but I've always just called him 'the cow'. He watched over Kansas City from 1954 until 1997 when the American Hereford Association sold the building he stood atop! Some people think that Kansas City being called a cow town is a bad thing! I was happy to see the cow on his new perch in Mulkey Square a few years later. I now call him The Sentinel as he appears to be watching over the city.

Glass Art What do you see in this "hot" Abstract? Inspiration: all things hot/On Fire like KC, The KC Chiefs, the sun, fire and a hot kiln. Artistic Process: Abstract Kilnfired art - various colored glass was ground fine and mixed with a medium and poured in a design on top of ivory glass. Gai oil was dripped to create additional interest. The glass was then fired in the kiln to use heat and manipulation to form blended colors and crackles of texture. This glass was then tack fused to a black glass background for a glass frame/mat. It is mounted on brushed stainless steel, wired for hanging with welded brackets to keep the artwork flat and straight on the wall with no tilting.

Glass Art Inspiration: Sparkling elegance inspired while hiking along the river. Artistic Process: Designing, cutting and firing together various dichroic glass with clear glass on top to create depth. Then it was formed into a wavy format. The artwork is mounted on brushed stainless steel, wired for hanging with welded brackets to keep the artwork flat and straight on the wall with no tilting.

Inspiration: Kayaking is one of my favorite activities, the view in front of my kayak on a spring day inspired this artwork. Artistic Process: The art is built in stages with each stage formed in the kiln then additional glass is added and kilnfired until final design was achieved. It is mounted on brushed stainless steel, wired for hanging with welded brackets to keep the artwork flat and straight on the wall with no tilting.

Taken on the Saturday night before the 2024 Super Bowl, Kansas Citians queue for the namesake s burgers during a night of celebration. "Town Topic Hamburgers" uses vintage themes and colors to turn a Kansas City classic into pop art.

Kevin's Park was painted from a trip that I took with my friend, Kevin, and his wife, Karen, to Blue Valley Park. The pastels cover a black piece of Color Fix paper.

Mixing the linear attributes of the I-135 bridge and new CPKC stadium, there is harmony between new and old infrastructure in North Kansas City with the promise of growth, by the powers that be, for these communities.
