        Bio:
I am attracted to artworks which include people in landscapes that use bold color and loose, painterly brushstrokes. As a painter, my challenge is to capture a special memory, an intimate moment or an everyday scene with as few strokes as possible, trying hard not to tell the whole story, inviting the viewer to finish it.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be inspired on a regular basis by both world class artworks and amazing school children as a docent at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
