Bio:

I'm an ecologist. That's a big word with a broad meaning. My work focuses on the interactions between plants and animals (including us!). I'm lucky to spend my time observing these relationships in ecosystems all across the region. I'm often surprised by the complexity and beauty that can be found at the edge of the road, under a mushroom, or inside a seed pod. Wild Kansas is a beautiful place and I hope to bring some of that beauty back with me, to people who need a connection with nature.
