Self taught to a large degree. I have taken workshops with Michael Workman, John C. Traynor, and Phil Starke. I am constantly studying the techniques of painting masters. A few of my major artist influences are Tom Thompson, Birger Sandzen; Henry Hensche, Charles Partridge Adams; John E. Carlson; John Sloan, and Charles Wesley Dow.
