Bio:
C.T. Thongklin is a self-taught photographer who has become an emerging local artist through his first art fair, the 2018 Summit Art Festival, and was established as the Artist-In-Residence at Heartland Imaging in Martin City to showcase the dazzling work he has captured of familiar Kansas City landmarks with his niche of commercial aviation photography. His aviation photography has also been featured through various corporate communication channels of Delta Air Lines, Inc., his present employer. When not managing a busy logistics operation for Delta’s aircraft mechanics and his employees at KCI Airport, he’ll be out finding the right photographic moments to capture behind the scenes at the airport as well as around Kansas City. C.T. is a veteran broadcast meteorologist who most recently served as Chief Meteorologist of RFD-TV and previously with CBS and ABC affiliates and holds a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Mizzou. He also enjoys playing the violin, piano, and guitar, but is learning a new hobby of painting to further transform the art photography he has captured into more unique pieces of art.
