Bio:
Sherri Buerky is a native Missourian living in Kansas city, but considers herself an Ozarkian. Born into an outdoorsy family from the Ozarks, and being artistically inclined from an early age, opportunities were found for her to create renditions of those beautiful landscapes on family vacations. This helped Sherri to develope a love of natural scenery, animals, waterscapes, and old odd twisted trees. Buerky is a self taught artist working primarily in acrylics. Participating in local Plein Air Art Competitions painting outdoors on site gives challenges and rewards inspiring her to constantly learn and improve her craft.
