Bio:
Having been an artist her entire life, Lorrie Crystal Eigles has a highly intuitive and spontaneous approach to making art. Sometimes she is inspired and begins with an idea or image and other times simply puts marks on the surface. In all cases she allows the imagery to unfold as authentically as possible. During different periods of life she has worked with water colors, acrylics, collage and color pencil with ink. Lorrie has a Bachelor's degree in Art, Sociology and American Studies and a Master's degree in Counseling, both from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Her work has been shown in local galleries including the Kansas City Artists Coalition, the Jewish Community Center Art Gallery, the Avila University Thornhill Gallery, the ARTichokes Gallery and the Epsten Gallery.
