Bio:

Inspiration comes from anything around me... music, architecture, nature and anything vintage. Many times it's those pieces and parts of inspirations combined which I tend to hold on to like a mental Pinterest board. Music is an extremely important component in my work, it influences mood, color and shape. My hope is the viewer can see something in a fresh and colorful way. I'm a self taught artist, working in various mediums: ink, oil, acrylic, pencil and watercolor, depending on what the vision lends itself to. I embrace art as approachable, un-intimidating and only lofty in the sense that, like music, it makes us feel good. www.jodyflaherty.com
