Brad Freidman is a painter and illustrator whose work provides a glimpse into a world that he would have trouble sharing otherwise; due in part to being nonverbal for the first 10 years of his life because of autism. His work has transcended this communication barrier, through depicting images reminiscent of childhood (including cartoons, advertisements, news articles, and family trips.)
