Bio:
Susana B has shown in Kansas City galleries and her work was chosen by ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover. Having worked for the Kansas City Art Institute, Susana is currently freelance designing and is the founder and director of GUILDit Art/Biz events. Current work consist of a series called 'Waves of Color: Colorized Landscapes' which are color field acrylics on canvas and 'Grounded: Cell Commentary' which is humorous commentary using recycled phone parts on wood. Previous series include political commentary on China’s Tiananmen Square demonstrations using geometric symbolism. Her range and inspirations are endless. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a Masters in Education from Iowa State University.
