ARTIST STATEMENT Inspired by the people I meet and places I visit, I am moved by what I see and experience. With paint and canvas, I set out to share those experiences with others. As a self-taught artist, I am on a journey of continuous discovery. Artists I admire have become my mentors and instructors. I am grateful to them for contributing to my art education and encouraging me along the way. I paint from life whenever I can and believe it has been one of my most important teachers.
