Bio:
Sonia Reeder-Jones is a visual artist and portrait painter. Sonia is a Kansas native. She divides her time between oil painting, marketing and graphic design. As a student of fine arts and contemporary arts, she received her BFA Degree in oil painting from the University of Kansas and has participated in numerous group and solo shows throughout the great plains region. She later pursued portrait drawing and portrait painting. She currently resided in Garnett, KS. Her paintings are mostly oil on canvas or oil on panel, many of which capture the people of the heartland. The artist also enjoys art drawing and charcoal drawing from life.
