Bio:
I have had a love of the medium of photography since the eighth grade, when I received a camera for Christmas. My passion for photography comes in my personal work and expression. Ansel Adams, Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O’Keefe have had a great influence on the way I see things. My training at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops has helped me express my vision of the world. My work is currently included in several personal and corporate collections, ie. the H&R Bloch Collection. I have been awarded Best of Show in the Kansas City Arts Commission Photography Competition. Recently, my work has been included in shows at Images Art Gallery in Overland Park, where I am a general member, the Buttonwood Art Space in Kansas City and the Camera Obscura Gallery in Denver(Merit Award Winner), Third Place Award at the City of Leawood Reflections Plein Aire Competition.
