Bio:

Growing up on a farm in a small town i had many subjects to inspire my creativity. Joining the Navy allowed seeing many beautiful things that could be placed on paper or canvas. Self taught artist. From an early age shading and forms were noticed by my curious eye. I would draw with challenge to capture the tree in the woods or the old fence post covered in an ivy.. I still draw with the same curiosity, only now i try using charcoal and oil pastels. Art gives me the peace in a busy day. Being in my early sixties with my grown daughters and grandsons living abroad, i now have the time to devote to more challenges.
