Bio:

My interest in photography started during the first year of my internal medicine residency in 2003. I visited Peter Lik’s gallery and was truly inspired by his magnificent work. My first photography teacher, Scott Reither, was in fact a disciple of Peter Lik. As a result, my earlier works bear much resemblance to that of Peter Lik and Scott Reither. With the help of many other photographers, I was able to develop my niche overtime. I use a combination of hyperdynamic range (HDR) and multiple exposures to capture the beauty of the entire time span of twilight. Although I’m spending most of my time working as a transplant hepatologist at the University of Kansas, I have so much compassion in photography. I have always considered photography as my second profession in development, rather than my hobby.
