Bio:

After raising a family and retiring from a 30-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, I found myself on an unexpected path. In 2020, the appearance of Comet NEOWISE ignited a deep fascination with the night sky and sparked a new chapter in my life as a photographer. What began as curiosity soon became a calling—transforming the night from a quiet backdrop into a vast canvas for exploration. Through dedicated self-study and hands-on experimentation, I’ve developed a perspective shaped by commitment, curiosity, and a deep connection to the simplicity and serenity of rural landscapes. My goal is to capture not only the image, but the feeling—the quiet beauty that resonates in familiar places beneath the reach of the stars. Today, I divide my time between the joys of family and the quiet pursuit of art. One keeps me grounded. The other offers space to reflect, wander, and bring the night sky to life—one frame at a time.
