Bio:
Carole developed a passion for art at a very young age. After a classic fine art education, she continued her studies with many well know artists. She has won numerous awards and has exhibited in many galleries and events in the US. Her work is collected in the US and Abroad. Carole is a member of the Oil Painters of America
, a charter member of the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society, the KC Artist Coalition, and the Greater Kansas City Artist Association. Her love of the landscape is a springboard to reflect the essence and feeling of the location. Her use of rich paint applied loosely to the canvas makes up her signature style. Carole's use of a limited palette consists of only red, yellow, and blue plus white. This discipline and use of a primary palette helps ensure landscapes that remain true to nature’s color and harmony. Her goal is to capture that fleeting moment of light and shadow.
Carole has traveled extensively throughout the US, Europe and the Middle East, and brings her cross cultural experiences and ideas home to her easel.
