Ronda Reinke

Ozawkie, KS

Bio:

Ronda Reinke, Visual Artist In the spring of 2025 Ronda Reinke displayed at Theater Lawrence “The best part of being an American is I Can.” At that event she introduced pastel drawings of young Americans in the series “Amer-I-Can” and “Ameri-Can-Can.” She has now taken her work to another level. Ronda operates within two strengths. Her ability as an illustrator is obvious in works like “A View from Ozawkie: Sidewalk Fishing” yet her real gift is bringing us images none of us seen before. Charm, humor, and drama are portrayed in these latest works. Ronda’s art celebrates the power of growth throughout her career. It began on an Iowa farm, surrounded by the power of nature throughout her childhood. Today her shape-making is based on forms and processes embedded in Midwest agriculture. She doesn’t just document farming, her work is an expression of personal growth which is the real value of growing up on an Iowa farm. However, she is not a regional artist/painter. Ronda has one boot still on the farm and yet the other explores the ebb and flow of contemporary life. Her context gives Ronda license to grow artistically. By living now at the lakeside where the Delaware River becomes Perry Lake, change is inevitable for Ronda. Welcome to her world! Originals are easily framed or unframed at your discretion. Digital prints of these images are also available. Her current work is also displayed at Northland Artist Gallery, Weston MO.
