Bio:
Penny Pate Dillon has been involved in the arts all her professional life. She has degrees in two areas of art: a Fine Art Degree from WAshington University in St. Louis and an Art Education Degree from The University of Texas at El Paso. Her education also includes two years in the Kansas City Art Institute's Commercial Art program. Penny's diverse art career includes everything from a classroom art teacher, art supervisor, commercial artist, fashion illustrator, and commission artist. Today, Penny is a full-time studio painter and loves every minute. Sharing her gift with others through painting, teaching, lectures, workshops, and commission assignments is her passion. She is recognized throughout the United States and in Mexico for her colorful paintings. Every year she participates in invitational workshops to stay current with the trends in the art community. This allows her to adapt to her client base and gallery requirements.
