Bio:

Born in Westminster, CO and raised in the Kansas City area, Marie is a glass artist inspired by her father's early introduction to the medium. Enamored by the works of other fine artists, designers, and printmakers she earned her BFA from the University of Central Missouri and began a career in illustration and multimedia design. She has also continued to explore the compatibility of various fine art mediums with her digital designs. By employing bold shapes and colors, she channels this passion into creating thought-provoking and balanced designs. Her work has been shown in the Belger Heartland 6 Glass Juried Exhibition, ARTsiG 5th Figurative Juried Art Competition, and she has been the recipient of a People’s Voice Webby Award. Marie's art moves beyond traditional work, weaving narratives that bridge her Midwest roots with a broader artistic conversation.
