Bio:

I go by Mancle Anderson, Freddy Raygun, Modern Fog or just call me MOFO if you prefer. i’ve been an artist and musician my entire life. From my early days in Texas to New Mexico and now Missouri, I’ve written songs, played in bands, produced albums, worked in classical music production, made films, delivered some pizzas and sold some siding. I’m now focusing on the visual arts and exploring the modern fog in my own head using paint. I like the idea that no thing is just one thing and that there is Chaos in any form and that the other way around is also true. I also like the idea that unexplainable beauty exists alongside unspeakable ugliness. I am attracted to myth, automatic writing, Jungian archeology, Rorschach visions, etc. My work is play or meditation or therapy. All three on a good day. It’s exciting to explore, see where things go, what reveals itself. All that sounds pretty pretentious and heavy handed but it’s really just a way to describe what makes me happy. It’s my version of fun and self-help and I love to share it with others You can find more of my work at modernfog.com.
