Bio:

Marek was born in London to European parents and emigrated to the United States as a child. He began drawing and painting at a young age and in college he went for Commercial Art at KU. Later he returned to London, where he worked for the National Gallery, continued studying drawing and painting, and got his Masters in Public Art. He now lives in Kansas, where he chairs the Roeland Park Art Committee and paints the prairie in its different moods.
