Katrina Keller is a self-taught, emerging artist. Her work primarily focuses on the feminine nude, and she uses this archetype as a vessel to explore the human experience and its collective expressions. Katrina uses mixed media techniques within her body of work to create a narrative of duality, transcendence, and inner exploration. Through each of her creative projects, she seeks to examine her personal experiences and translate them into a modality of individual and collective healing. The metamorphosis that her subjects undergo represents the nuanced experience of navigating a world that is both tender and harsh, and the underlying resilience of the human spirit. Katrina takes an intuitive approach to her work and often uses recurring themes, personal symbolism, and even poetry to unveil glimpses of her inner world to the viewer. Each of her artworks is a tribute to the inherent sacredness within and the awe of simply being alive. Katrina currently creates from her home in Kansas City, Missouri.
