Bio:

After practicing art my entire life I gave it up for over a decade and in 2020 I decided to pick up a brush again, getting back to my passion and pursuing art full-time. I’ve loved everything art--colors, textures, patterns--for as long as I can remember. Throughout school I took every art class I could find and also attended college courses at Parsons School of Design in NYC during the summer. I majored in fine arts at the University of Colorado for two years before changing paths and giving into the unfortunate narrative every aspiring artist has encountered that “You can’t make a living as an artist”. I graduated with a degree in biological engineering in 2012. Leaving the engineering field shortly after graduating, I’ve since worked in graphic design, marketing, events, and even as a yoga teacher. In 2020 I came full circle, deciding to make art my main focus and pursue it full time. I was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas and currently live in the Kansas City area.
