I am a Kansas City oil painter from St. Louis, Lawrence, KS & Chicago. I like to paint medium to large scale on canvas. Brushes, palette knives and my fingers are my main tools. If pressed to categorize my style, I would call myself a representationalist painter. Evoking nostalgia and celebrating nature and objects from my life experience is my natural intention. Often my subject matter is a collection of objects that please my eye or a singular place or object that holds meaning for me. Interacting with my collectors brings me inspiration and energy as being a studio artist can be quite reclusive.
