Bio:
Laurie was born and raised in the greater Kansas City area and raised her family here. She attended UCM after high school receiving a degree in Graphic Arts and returned to school for an associates in Commercial Art from Penn Valley and a Multimedia Certificate from the KC Art Institute. She worked in the industry her entire career retiring from Hallmark Cards in 2020. In retirement she has combined her love of art and fiber to become a fiber artist creating art quilts.
