11534 Knox Street
Overland Park, KS 66210
Bio:
His father was a photographer and taught him to shoot with an Argus C3 “Brick†during his formative years in the 1950s. His father’s love of nature has always been a strong influence. His work and his father’s have hung side by side in juried shows. He believes in F8 and being there for as long as it takes. He believes in capturing what something can be not what it is. He believes in the golden moments of each day. When people see his work, he would like them to see an image from a different vantage point, intrigued by the dynamics of light and to be curious and motivated to delve closer. His work is affected by a favorite quote from Cecil Beaton: “Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary.â€
