Barbara Akers

Bio:

I hold degrees in science, but I am also an artist. While I took a few art classes in college, most of my training has been through community classes and workshops. I work in several mediums: watercolor, pastel, acrylic, woodburning (pyrography), and occasionally graphite/charcoal. I love detailed work, but sometimes I just have to loosen up for a break from the minute details.
