She often shifts between abstract and pictorial. Not confining her creative eye to one method, subject or process. Her imagery can be seen as stories in either a single image or series. She has worked in different photographic mediums, such as: Film, photogravure, digital, VanDyke, and cyanotype and has exhibited extensively in Kansas City, Nebraska, Oregon, Oklahoma, Vermont, Colorado, Wyoming and Beijing, China. She was awarded two Artist Inc. fellowships, a Charlotte Street Start Up Residency, honorable mention in 13th Annual Pollux Award and 16th annual Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers, as well as 3 public art grants through Kansas City Art in the Loop in partnership with KC Streetcar and 2022 April - June ArtBoards through Charlotte Street Foundation. She won Best of show in the Sage Community Arts 7th Annual Photography Exhibit. She also runs Kansas City Society for Contemporary Photography, a photographic arts organization, and has served a 7 year term on the board for the Kansas City Artists Coalition. 5 of those years she served as the secretary. Through her organization she worked on a collaborative project, Portrait of a City, with the photography department of The Nelson Atkins Museum of Modern art. This project, inspired by the exhibition of Evelyn Hofer’s Eyes on the City, included 98 images from 49 photographers creating a catalogue and an exhibition on Kansas City.
