Bio:
I am a visual artist based in Manhattan, Kansas. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Kansas State University in 1995. I work in watercolor and mixed medias. My inspiration in painting comes from what moves me. It can be an emotion, a belief or a memory. I paint with the intention of capturing the significance and uniqueness of a moment in time to be able to spotlight the small details in life. I have an affinity of painting things that touch me personally and I enjoy bringing them to the watercolor paper. My work has been shown since 2004 in multiple venues in and around Kansas.
