Bio:
Don James is a b/w fine art photographer based in the Midwest US in "the middle of the map". Although his background is in the music industry as a recording engineer, songwriter, and composer, these disciplines have informed his journey in photography. With his grandfather's Argus C3, Don first learned photography and darkroom skills in Boy Scouts as a youth. Over the years, he continued photographing his world with whatever camera he had available , but it wasn't until 2015 that Don truly began finding his voice behind the lens. In finding his voice, it revealed his own unique perspective on the world around him. Since then, Don has continued to refine his craft, and has been featured in numerous galleries, shows, and exhibitions.
