Bio:
I am a retired 4th grade teacher (27 years) who used lots of art in my classroom. I have always thought that art was a great "connector" and used it to reach my students. In retirement for over 10 years I have used several different media but have now been painting with acrylic for many years. I usually just paint for myself and/or friends but I did have my artwork featured at Village Shalom Retirement Center for a couple of months earlier in the year. I feel the "joy" that comes with painting and hope to bring "joy" to others. In fact, I sign most of my paintings with the signature ,,,,Joy
