"Sunset Duet"

Buttonwood Art Space is hosting "Sunset Duets" an art exhibit now through July 26th and is open to visitors anytime during gallery hours.   

Sunset mark the end of a day, a moment in time and is often stunningly beautiful. Painter Debbie Wagner and photographer George Jerkovich have collaborated in illustrating sunsets during the winter months of 2012-2013 and we see, side-by-side how each interprets the ending of day.

Well-known for painting the sunrise each day since her successful battle against brain tumors in 2005, Debbie invited George on a journey of photographing the sunset. George prints his photos in large format. This exhibit shows the beauty each found during what artists call the "magic hour" when the sun turns the ocean of sky into brilliant hues and fades slowly to night.
