"From the Earth"

Our planet has so much to offer. From flowers, fields, plants, greenery, vegetables, insects, bodies of water and everything in between, Mother Nature's beauty is undeniable and provides wonderful subject matter for art!
Artist are encouraged to submit works with images "From the Earth". Artwork may include anything that comes from the Earth as well as abstract works inspired by nature. Show us your gardens, landscapes, flowers, and anything else that comes from the Earth! We can't wait to see what artists submit!
Artworks may include: paintings, photographs, 3D pieces, fiber works, jewelry and much more! 50% of sold artworks will go directly to artists, with the remaining 50% benefiting Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG).
KCCG's mission is to empower and inspire low-income households, community groups, and schools in the Kansas City Metropolitan area to grow their own vegetables and fruit. KCCG provides free gardening workshops, technical assistance, garden supplies, and other resources to individuals, families, neighborhood organizations, nonprofit agencies, and other groups throughout the metropolitan Kansas City area through the Self-Help Gardening (Rent A Plot) and Community Partner Gardens program.
First Friday will be held on May 5, 2023 in person at Buttonwood Art Space (3013 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64108) from 5pm - 8pm and all are welcome to join!
