Bio:

ARTIST STATEMENT "utilizing geometric shapes" The majority of my art work would be best characterized as “abstract - pop art” with two main subcategories being "real-life" and “geometric shapes", then juxtaposition them together or placing them in concert with other shapes to create movement and life. This combination is enhanced by color selection and the placements of light to form a bold statement. Employment of real life objects with unusual or in unexpected combination to present something unique. This work is created with different mediums acrylic, oil on canvas and wood. With a wide variety of application techniques are used to applied layers and achieve a finish ART work. My greatest inspiration come from the desire to explore and discover new ways of using something old or familiar shapes and objects to combine them in a rendering. David S.
